Application licence

Gentle Snippets is licensed under the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA). We do not replace it with a separate custom application EULA. If these explanatory terms conflict with the Standard EULA or applicable App Store purchase terms, those terms govern the app licence and purchase as applicable.

Apple is not the developer of Gentle Snippets. The application provider is responsible for the app and its support, subject to the EULA and applicable law.

What the app does

Gentle Snippets is a local prompt and text template library for macOS. It helps you organise, edit, copy, back up and export your content. It does not generate AI responses or supply access to third-party AI services. Current system requirements and supported features are described on the app page and in the App Store listing.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the prompts, templates and other content you create or import. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use and share that content. No ownership of your content is transferred to Appscode Lab by using the app.

Use the app lawfully and respect intellectual property, confidentiality and privacy rights. Keep appropriate backups and check exports before relying on them. Third-party applications and AI services you use with copied prompts have their own terms.

Free features and Pro

The free version currently includes up to 10 saved prompts and 3 folders, together with editing, search, variables, attachments, history, backup and restore, and JSON, Markdown and plain text export.

Optional Pro purchases unlock unlimited prompts and folders, batch organisation, and PDF, PNG, HTML and RTF export. Available purchase options and the full price, billing period and currency are displayed in the app and Apple purchase sheet before you confirm.

Subscriptions and renewal

Monthly and yearly Pro plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price displayed for renewal.

Manage, change or cancel your subscription in Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple’s purchase terms and applicable law govern billing, changes and any specific entitlements.

Lifetime purchases

Where offered, Pro Lifetime is a separate one-time, non-consumable purchase. It does not auto-renew and unlocks the Pro entitlement for the application under the applicable App Store purchase terms. It does not promise that a product, operating system, support service or future separate application will be available forever.

Restoring purchases and expiry

Use Restore Purchase in the app with the Apple Account that made the eligible purchase. Apple purchase verification and service availability may affect restoration. If a subscription expires, existing library content remains available for editing, while new creation above the free limits and Pro-only features may be restricted. Backup and restore and JSON, Markdown and plain text export remain available.

Refunds and purchase assistance

Apple processes App Store payments and determines refund eligibility under its terms and applicable law. To request a refund or report a billing issue, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For help with app features or restoring a purchase, contact Appscode Lab. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.

Availability and limitations

We aim to keep the app useful and reliable, but availability, compatibility and future features may change. The warranties, liability provisions and other licence conditions of the Apple Standard EULA apply, subject to mandatory applicable law. Do not rely on the app as the only copy of important information.

Third-party names and logos identify their respective services and do not imply an endorsement or partnership.

We may update these explanatory terms to reflect the app or purchase options. The date above identifies this version. Changes do not remove rights already granted by mandatory law or replace the terms governing an existing Apple purchase.
